The property located in a beautiful area. Naiyang beach is gorgeous and you can see it from the resort after you cross a small river that sits between the property and a nature park . There’s always a nice man there ready to bring you across on a makeshift barge day and night . It was adventurous to cross the woods at night after dinner at the little village at the beach . The people at the front desk, , restaurant were super nice and we’re as always ready to make everything even better with a constant smile. I would go back there, stay in the Villa like I did . You can go directly from the living room to the pool. It felt safe walking around to and from the beach at night. The breakfast was excellent with fresh tropical fruit everyday. I recommend L’ESPRIT de Naiyang. There was only one problem and it was with the reservation. Booking.com did not get my message immediately after the reservation about it being one person , not 2 and that I was including breakfast. I ended up having to pay at the resort despite contacting booking and sending emails.

At first glance I found the room a bit dated, but it was clean and functional so I’m positive about it after all. I really liked the location - it’s quiet on one side but close enough to shops and restaurants (walking distance), you can walk by the beach or forest road. As I understand that road is considered to be part of national park so it’s not really dark forest, more like park. Being woman with a little daughter I didn’t feel uncomfortable (at least during daytime). About the river at the back of hotel: you need to cross it via ferry. Hotel staff is there to help you so it wasn’t a problem. I actually perceive it as advantage - small adventure (for my kid) and nature border so that no outside people enter hotel. The restaurant was nice. I didn’t order breakfast while booking but after all we went for a breakfast all days, and sometimes for lunch too. Staff was nice, I was feeling welcome. Price for a taxi to airport ordered from reception was 350 baht so it was cheaper comparing to grab after all.

The hotel provided us two rooms, which were located next to each other and had big common room with sofa and TV which was not included in the price but was fully in our use and we could lock it. Big balconies were in the rooms as well. The pool was clean. Not so deep as desired but we were focused on the sea. The access to the beach is via ferry (works free of charge all day long on demand; the ferry man is always on duty). The Nai Yang beach is good enough for that season. I suspect that the waves are smaller than that on Karon beach at the same time. We swam a lot. There are all necessary facilities on the beach.

Wonderful, friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They arranged a stunning towel display on our bed for our wedding anniversary. The hotel is spotlessly clean with a lovely breakfast selection. They arranged trips for us at excellent prices and offered lots of ideas for us to spend our time while it rained. Very close to the airport, which is convenient. The staff really are a credit to the hotel, from the maid service, to the ferryman across the river, the reception staff, the gardener, and bar and food staff.

We absolutely loved this hotel! We booked a bungalow right by the pool and were extremely satisfied… The rooms are spacious, clean and the pool is amazing ! But what made our stay really great and exceptional is the staff here... Everyone’s super nice, helpful and very professional. Reception, F&B, Housekeeping, everybody… Special shoutout to Popi and Pong from the restaurant/bar! Good drinks and delicious food gentlemen, thank you ! We can definitely recommend this hotel to all potential visitors. You won’t regret it.
